Tradition meets Innovation
BERTRAM® was founded in 1931 and started out as a small company offering light railways with locomotives and wagons for peat extraction in moorland areas, as well as mobile conveyors for the construction industry. In the 1970s, the company expanded its product range to include lifts and became a pioneer in the German market. In the 1980s, BERTRAM® opened its first lift rental business in Hanover, which served as a model for the industry. Today, we are a leading provider of height access technology and conveyor technology.
